Do you want to know what?!!!  I am NOT DEAD!  No, no, no, so much alive and running around these days doing the things I love, love, love, and this came on my iPod while running down and through and past and around the "trail closed!" sign because I couldn't take one more bicycle passing me or saying "on your left!" or "g'day!" I just wanted to run and listen to my heart beat hard and fast and let the oxygen and the sunshine and the windy wind in and nobody to get in the way of my path...no words...no people...just me and my shadow...it's been a while...since I climbed over a fence...

Zuzu, where are you?

Okay - I'll admit it.  The ONLY time of year I watch t.v. is now for American Idol.  Anyone want to wager?

I'll go as far as picking a top 6 right now...and will say a woman WILL win this year.

Okay, Misty, now you got me goin'! Crystal Bowersox is in a league the others can only dream about. The continual stream of children imitating one or other of the current big selling artists has been interrupted by this adult who delivered 'As Long as I Can See the Light' (great John Fogerty song - CCR forever!) like it was made for her.
 Go, Crystal!!!

Ahhh!  I can't believe 3/3 are now out! No way!  Ultimately I do understand FOX is constructing the results of this competition in some way - but there was some excellent talent eliminated last night.  I was wrong last year, too - thought Adam Lambert was a shoe-in...I still enjoy this one

What your old friend needs far more than a handout is to get into a program that will help him get off the streets and medicated back to reality.

Nice Johnny, I'd never heard them before - & my Spanish isn't good enough to tell where
they were from (for some reason the .avi file took forever to load so I clicked on a studio
version after watching about half of the live version).  Venezuela?

The crowd was singing along with them!  Their music had a 60s feel for me...

I kind of go through obsessions with artists - and while I've been listening to Lhasa de Sela for many years, she has been "it" for the last several months.

Hardly a lick.  Just wanted to lift up a peace pipe to Lhasa de Sela is all.

Ah yes, I will miss her and all the beauty she gave the world. I'm grateful for the
music she left behind.
